EMF stands for Electro-Magnetic Fields and is basically the radiation generated when you pass an electrical current through a wire or through any electrical device. They can be incidental in that they are an unintended result of the operation of a device such as a drill, hairdryer, toaster….. or they can be intentional such as a microwave transmitter sending signals to your cell phone. With all of the radio signals and EMF associated with our electrical devices at home and work we now experience typically 100 million times more radiation than our grandparents. Ouch!
